Tabbed by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 4 prospect overall, Stone is excited to see Texas A&M again.
“Their d-line is crazy,” Stone said. “They’ve been getting the No. 1 d-lineman every year for the last two or three years. Why not continue the trend. I love the College Station life, I’ve been there multiple times. It’s a good place to be around. Their fans are nice. The facilities are brand new and the dorms I remember when they were first getting built, Coach Fisher told me they were spending a whole lot of money on everything and should be finished my freshman year.
There’s a whole bunch of good stuff there and I think they’ll be doing well soon.”
Stone feels the same way about Oklahoma’s trajectory.
The staff obviously, they’ve done some amazing stuff in the past,” Stone said. “I feel like they got the experience to win National Championships.
“I feel like they’ll be more successful than the old staff because they’re willing to recruit in-state more and I feel if they’re able to keep a lot of the players from going to Oklahoma State or elsewhere out of state they’ll do a good job of getting back on top of college football.”
Stone’s sister goes to school in Norman.
I’m there all the time when I’m back home,” Stone said. “I chill with the players sometimes.”
