Expansion

Steve Lamb on WBAP-AM Fort Worth said this morning that Nebraska and Colorado might be interested in returning. Colorado has remained in mediocrity in the PAC 12 and Nebraska has dipped into mediocrity in the Big 10.

Neb would drop $10 million with the move, but long term might be a better fit. ESPN might very well be interested in a Big 12 channel with Neb and another team. Neb can barely buy Texas recruits in their current environment. None were signed in the 2016 class. The new ACC by ESPN channel begins 2019.

Gordon McClane has lock jaw. He dropped millions in the new Baylor stadium and now sees Baylor football returning to the cellar.

I would LOVE to see Nebraska come back!!! But I don't see them coming back unless some sort of enticement deal or concession were made to make it look better in the realm of public opinion. If they simply come back without that, it really makes them look like they are coming back with their tail between their legs and they look really bad for making the jump a handful of years ago. But I don't doubt that Nebraska would like to come back if something could be done to smooth it over in the media. Make it look like the Big 12 talked them into coming back, rather than it looking like Nebraska begged their way back in.

Interesting story from Steve Lamb. I'd like to know more him and his sources for stating this. Unless his source can be confirmed, I don't believe it.

That would be Drayton McLane and he could have built 4 Baylor stadiums just off what he made selling the Houston Astros to Jim Crane.

Nebraska is not coming back to the Big 12, especially with the kind of dollars the B1G is projected to be making in the next television contract. Now with that said, I think OU (and Texas and/or KU) would be more than welcome to join us in the Big Ten. :)

150 is pretty impressive...but I wouldn't want to live that long.
Tripping on your ball sack on your fourth trip to whiz at 4 in the morning has no appeal at all.

I LoL'd on this one, but I'm pretty sure the assumption is that quality of life will scale accordingly. You'll still only be suffering those final few years.
What doesn't appeal to me is that the 40-something year work career will now have to be 80, 90, 100 years? That's going to suck if they don't fix this arcane 40hr, 5 day work week.
