realized this win will not fall in their lap!
when up in Ohio there arose such a clatter,
remembering last year when Baker planted the flag after ripping them to tatters!
away to their twitters they went in a flash,
claiming our defense was nothing but trash..
but the committee knows better, they see the glow
from the heisman statue that is soon to show!
when, what to Lincolns eyes should appear?
but Murray, Hollywood, and Brooks, oh dear!
with the players like Lamb and Sermon so quick,
they knew in a moment the Sooners were the right pick!
more rapid than Buckeyes to the playoffs they came,
and Lincoln whistled and shouted and called them by name!
"Now Murray, now Hollywood, now Brooks, now Lamb!
