Thought I had already asked this, but I can't find the post.
We are going to be in the Tyler/Canton, TX area this weekend.
Anyone know of a place that might potentially pay for and show the Akron game?

Probably not interested, but if you are willing to drive to Plano or Dallas, check the websites of the OU CLub of Dallas and the OU Club of Collin County. In Dallas, it's a little north of downtown. The OU Club of CC is farther in Frisco. But you have a very tight parking situation in Dallas. Valet parking. Large mall parking lot in Frisco. I know both with have lots of Sooner fans. And Canton isn't that far.

Curiously, I'll be reduced to the 1950s again it appears by having only the radio for the live broadcast.

I'm looking into it like Columbo, but it doesn't look good for any visual medium. Shit.

I knew the OU Club of Dallas would have something, but I was trying to see if there was anything in East Texas that would be easier to access.
We're staying in an RV park, so we'll have to go to an establishment somewhere.

Fitty - I'm doubting that many bars/hotels in that area will be buying the PPV for Akron. But I am hoping.
That is why I am asking here.

Thanks all.

FItty I am pretty sure you'll be able to watch the game the next day on one of the FOX channels. And will fewer, shorter commercials.

You know, I was looking at that list of providers for the game Saturday...and this caught my eye.

'Gun Barrel', Texas.
Coolest dang town name whatever was babies!

Hell, I might change my 'location' to that...got to talk to my people about that thing.
