Can confirm that Sooners’ 2025 four-star QB commit Kevin Sperry will be transferring from Carl Albert. It’s not bad, as far as I know from an OU stand point. As a matter of fact, it may be a good thing with Sperry headed to Denton Guyer to finish his HS career.
Yes, this is Sperry’s third school but this move is to take some of the strain off momma as she has been traveling back and forth with work still in DFW area.
At the end of the day, Sperry went to Carl Albert and was stellar. He won a state title and became very entrenched in the Sooners’ 2025 class at the same time.
Again, this is a best case scenario if your star QB commit is to move. Moving to Denton Guyer, with that programs track record with OU commits, is something I’m told has been a relief to the OU staff. And yes, they are aware and okay with it all.
