Source tells me that 2024 five-star DL David Stone is back at OU today hanging out with his IMG teammate and Oklahoma DL official visitor Jayden Jackson. The two are close friends and Stone told me a few things came up yesterday where he couldn’t make it before we recorded our ‘Know ya ‘Croot’ episode. Sounds like all worked out today, though.
Oklahoma is in Jackson’s top five and they have been quietly making a run at the interior DL. The Sooners are battling Ohio State, Florida, Miami and Texas for Jackson’ services.
As for Stone, it never hurts when the five-star shows up to OU, especially a day or two before he’s supposed to leave for his OV to Michigan State.
I’ll try to get a few things on the unofficial for Stone and Jackson’s official visit once it’s over.
