Despite what some have portrayed about 2024 four-star CB Eli Bowen, the Sooners and CB coach/Co-DC Jay Valai have been very aggressive in their recruitment of the younger Bowen.
That aggressiveness by Valai and the Sooners’ staff has been paying off, with Bowen slated to take his official visit this weekend to Oklahoma (June 9-11th), according to a source with knowledge of the four-star’s recruitment.
There are other programs like Texas and a few others making a push, and expecting OV’s themselves, and I no means think OU is a forgone conclusion. Still, if the Sooners can do what needs to be done here this weekend, it should at least put them in a very good position.
