After both seeing how soft this defense is...& having listened to the culture among the defensive players the past few weeks. It has never been more clear that OU needs to hire Durkin as their next DC.
He is one of the top defensive minds/coaches in all of college football. Was cleared by 2 separate independent investigations in the made up ESPN (#fakenews) report of a so called toxic culture. And is in the need for a rehab project so to speak for his career.
I honestly can’t think of a better fit than what Durkin needs as a coach & what OU needs as a program.
I am sure I will get ripped for the thread. But eight years ago Jim Leavitt was in a similar situation from a a career perspective, & OU would have likely won National Championship #8 had Leavitt followed in BV’s footsteps rather than Mike.
