I’m assuming Riley brought him here to be the guy if he had to let Mike go. On what little I researched about him, he was a pretty good DC at Notre Dame. Sucked it up at UConn as HC, and then stunk it up at Nebraska, but he also got axe there along with the whole staff. I’m sure it was beyond difficult to coach at NU with their lack of talent.
