Here's my take and I know I will get flamed. First of all I don't care for Mike and I get frustrated with playing 10 yards of the wr's, poor tackling, and the lack of blitzing at times. I wasn't able to watch the game live but kept with it on radio/ESPN app/Directv app however it was about 3 plays behind. The first two long passes Motley was there just needed to knock it down. First td the ball just barely got over Bolton. We didn't always maintain our lanes on running plays and Montgomery was able to cut back. On the 4th and 11 conversion, Iowa St. wr made an incredible catch on a ball thrown behind him which it had to be because Bolton would've knocked it down. The other 4th down conversion we had 3 guys there Haughton and Broiles and they were trying to tackle Devin too high. 2 personal foul penalties were stupid and one could have cost us a td if Murray intercepts it. While I think we are better, we need to greatly improve our tackling, ball awareness in the secondary, and be willing to blitz more. Another concern is covering running backs out of the backfield because 2 times we had no one with 10 yards of Montgomery.
