I prefer to have a balanced team on all 3 phases of the game.
But the CFP has put an emphasis on valuing defense over offense.
It appears based on today’s #2 offense destroying the #2 defense that the committee has gotten it wrong.
Also need to factor in what audiences come to watch. With the enjoyment of NFL fans from the Chiefs/Rams game you’d think they’d start valuing high scoring offenses more.
