FORT WORTH, Texas – Through the first half of Oklahoma’s game against TCU, it felt like the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Hey, you’re just putting lipstick on a pig regarding the Sooners defense.

OU was up 28-24 at the break, and the prevailing thought was it’s time for yet another shootout in conference play.

Just didn’t turn out that way. Kyler Murray and the offense did their part, but the OU defense tightened up and made this one a comfortable 52-27 road victory against the Frogs.
