I keep hearing people say including Teddy that there won’t be many changes. Others say we prob won’t be that much better. You all realize if we can just line up and be in the correct position at the snap that will improve the defense immensely? I’ve aleady heard the practices are more physical, so that will help with some of tackling issues.
Things I’m looking fwd to never seeing again:
Players running into position as the ball is snapped
Looking to sideline while the ball is being snapped trying to figure out the call
The defense using most of the time outs for the passed three seasons?
Not having the personnel to run a 2 gap system or a 3-4, but doing it anyway.
Seeing the 3 man front with tweeners on the ends
Mike’s Quasi defensive schemes that
never worked (i.e. Tavon Austin WVU, he’s still running)
Not seeing read react, but attacking. Mixing up calls and coverages instead of the offense being able to call a play based on our stagnet formation.
