Why are the Semifinals (Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl) being played on December 29th? Those are 2 of the “New Years Six” yet they aren’t being played on New Years like the other 4 (Peach, Fiesta, Sugar, Rose). I though they only moved the semis off of New Years Day, when New Years fell on a Sunday, (NFL conflict). What’s up with this?
