(I meant to post this a week ago)
A little over 22 months ago, you killed me and the whole SOONER nation. We had just lost to Oklahoma State and just when things couldn't get any worse, you killed us all.
If you truly don't want to be a SOONER coach, then it really is good that you leave. We are a blue blood and we deserve only the best.
You knew perfectly how to put a good offense together. Maybe the best that we ever had in a very long time. You have a way of getting 5* recruits but, they didn't always perform like a 5*. You brought Caleb Williams to Oklahoma and what can I say, he is a true baller. Even if we did lose to Oklahoma State, our future was bright. And then you decided that Oklahoma wasn't good enough for you.
You left and Bob stoops filled the void until we got a new coach. He promised that this would only be a speed bump and he was 100% correct.
Brent Venebles was hired and I was extremely happy. And then we went 6-7 in his first year. It was extremely painful to watch especially losing to Texas 49-0. After you killed us, it felt like Brent finished putting the nails in the coffin. And then in his second year, we started 5-0 and looking great. We go into Dallas to play Texas and we go in has a underdog and come out as a winner. We still might be a year or so away from winning the national championship. But, you just never know because we have a team that is full of fight and hunger.
It took me a long time to realize that you leaving was the best thing to ever happen to SOONER football. You didn't care about playing special teams or even defense and guess what, you can't win that away all the time. You need to be great in all 3 phases.
I am going to finish this letter now but I want to tell you something first. Thanks for leaving. You leaving was the best thing to ever happen however, we didn't know this at the time. I will root for anyone that plays you. I am over you 100% and now I am going to stop wasting my time with you. I will now end this letter. Adios to TBOW 😂
