So it looks like the coaches are going forward with the whole "multiple" defense thing. Let me go on record as saying I don't agree with this premise. In that you don't recruit for a 3 man front for 2 straight years, then switch your scheme to a 4 man front. But alas, I digress. I like to keep up with depth charts, I like to think it's my "thing". Well I'm starting some rough draft version of a "way too early" 2016 depth chart. By the way our JUCO additions make a ton of more sense if you look at what we got returning next year at certain positions. Back on topic, I'm needing help/validation as to where each DLinemen/OLB falls when it comes to a 3 man and 4 man fronts next season.
Will go by Name, position in 3 man front, position in 4 man front.
Gabriel Campbell - DE - DT?
Matt Dimon - DE - DE?
Issac Ijalana - DE - DE
Kenneth Mann - DE - DE
Dwayne Orso - DE - DT
DJ Ward - DE - DE
Neville Gallimore - DT? - DT
Courtney Garnett - DT? - DT
Marquise Overton - DT - DT
Mathew Romar - DT - DT
Jordan Wade - DT - DT
Charles Walker - DE - DT
Austin Roberts - DE - DE
Obo - OLB - DE?
Deberry - OLB - DE?
I guess my main questions are: Is Campbell a DT in a 4 man front? Is Dimon (who is around 290) a DT in a 4 man front. Is Gallimore a DE in a 3 man front? What position is Garnett playing?
