Basic CB fundamentals 101.......you are taught to play both the ball and the receiver. The last two Iowa State big plays...the corners were clueless where the ball was. Back in my old DB day at practice there would be a coach on the back end that would throw a football in the back of the DB if he was caught with his back exposed and not playing both the receiver and ball
