Just hear me out.. I don't even like soccer, AKA "football" but their playoff and tiered system is something college football should adapt. Think about every year there are only maybe 5-6 teams with a legit shot at winning it all and most of the time 3-4 of them are the same damn teams... Using that logic if you just made a tiered system with the top say 15 teams in college football AKA a mix of the Big 10 and SECs best with some sprinklings of the Big 12, ACC, and Pac 12...(premier league) then waterfall it down to the next 15 teams and so on... So that way the top league is without question the best in football. That way you could still have a banging playoff picture and not only who wins exciting, but who loses and might possibly get kicked down to the lower league is fun to watch too...
