Isaih Cousins has really come alive the last four or five games and contributing to the offense like I envisioned he would at the first of the season. And Kadeem Lattin has been a shot-blocking machine all season, but tonight is just ridiculous. Aggressive, but not dumb, great body control and he too is starting to come into his own offensively.

But we will never see another pure shooter like Buddy Hield at OU. The guy is un-freaking-believable.

Didn't get to watch the game but agreed...Cousins is back and our offensive improvements are obvious. Love hearing about additional offensive improvement by Lattin. Still need scoring depth off the bench though.

It's going to be very interesting to see how they defend Simmons this weekend. Lon likes mostly to play man, but Simmons is hard to match up with. Buddy might be the best match, but you'd sure had to see him in foul trouble defending who many if not most call the best NBA prospect in the country. I don't see it, but then I've been wrong before. I don't know what the final was Tuesday, but UGa is not very good. Lots of dumb turnovers.

This team has one issue to overcome. Defensive rebounding isn't very good, especially when Lattin goes to block a shot. Love Spangler on the boards, but he's not a huge guy.

Lattin had like seven of his blocks it seemed like, in the first half. Tubby's guys usually make some hay down low. But they're missing a big guy right now. Lattin made them pay. It will be a lot tougher in Lubbock.

This Saturday is a big deal. I don't remember beating any Louisiana teams in Louisiana in any sport. Softball got swept by both ULaLa and LSU on their last trips there. NC game for the 03 NC. I think baseball got swept there too.

I HATE losing to LSU in anything. Time for this great team to restore the proper pecking order.

I think Simmons is to tall for Buddy. Close to 6" difference I believe. I wouldn't mind seeing a zone vs LSU. That way a guard has him outside or a big will have in inside and everyone else on their team will have to beat us.

I watched part of the LSU/Georgia game. Not impressed with their paint defense. No blocks but strong DF rebounds. They let quite a few players just blow by for easy layups. The perimeter defense looked soft also but I expect them to step it up with the Sooner 3pt sharpshooters arrive. I think they'll get carved up by our boys and Lattin is gonna go beast mode on them....if the refs will let them play.

I agree that Lattin is a great asset on defense, but I was at the game and he was awful offensively: missed the front end of a one-and-one, threw away a pass on a fast break, missed a point blank put back, missed a jam, and missed a wide open 10 footer.

91-67 Oh My ! Keep 'em cooking and growing stronger Lon !

I LOVE me a Football & Basketball School ! Baseball and Softball is not so bad either and coming to a venue or cable channel near you Sooner !

Not to mention #1 and #3 in gymnastics.

ANY league would love to have the Sooners ... even if it means we kick their asses in most sports.

Well, he is a sophomore and is a work-in-progress, but he scored six last night and is averaging six, so he had a typical game. He did make a couple of seven footers and two free throws, so he wasn't exactly awful. I did see the mistakes and missed shots, but the stat sheet only two turnovers and eight blocks, so I would not call that a bad night for the young man. The good news is, he's only going to get better!
