This may get washed out with other news today but I wanted to say a couple things:
1). Shane Beamer leaving Georgia should tell even the most casual fan that OU is a coveted job - and the Lincoln is a sought after coach to work for/learn from...... So, please - think before you post: “ Coach X won’t come here”
2). OU is basically in the same position as last season.... losing a game to a team that they had no business losing to. All is not lost.... I bet they win out.
3). Ted Lehman and Rufus Alexander are pretty strong authorities on the subject.... they were respectful but thorough post game that what we witnessed Saturday was unacceptable, they talked about a soft culture and poor tackling..... I bet that gets fixed over the next 2-4 weeks. I’d start by putting a large sign on every defensive players locker (and it would remain there) that says - “Gentlemen, from this moment forward we are going to punch people in the mouth and dish out some bloody noses”.
They’re kids..... the respond to these kids of things.
