Wanted to dig out a little more information before coming here and sharing what I know about five-star LB Daelin Hayes, who has scheduled an official visit to Oklahoma for the Nov. 20 weekend.
Even before Sunday's de-commitment from USC (school he had been committed to for 15 months), Daelin was considering other schools. He took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame last month and returns to South Bend for his official visit this upcoming weekend. Other schools had been considered for official visits prior to Sunday, but when I spoke with Daelin at his game this past Friday he told me he had cut off communication with those schools that were not USC and Notre Dame.
Sunday's de-commitment obviously changed that, and what I am hearing from those close to this situation is that Alabama, Ole Miss and Ohio State have also reached out in the last couple days, though I have not heard of any additional official visits being set. That Notre Dame official visit this upcoming weekend is one to watch, though. They are definitely the team to beat and it would not shock me in the least if he committed to the Irish this weekend.
