Cotton Bowl it is...

why is their TE out? Nevermind I see he's moving on up. Thats a huge weight lifted off the secondary's shoulders.

Just for shits n grins I looked up total defense rankings. NCAA has us ranked #20 and gators #62. OUr secondary has come together and I believe will give Trask a run for his money. We're gonna need the push and disruption from the d'line now more than ever.
Unless OU's offensive line gets straightened out, OU could be in trouble.
Florida has yielded a ton of points, but OU's running game needs to step up....and that starts with the offensive line doing its job.

Agreed. From what I saw of Florida, they have at least one playmaker on every level of their defense. And yes I know they gave up over 50 😜

Not having DeMarco for that game (because of the knee injury he got on the first play at the CCG in KC) was another head scratcher by BGBS
In hindsight but Demarco was an explosive playmaker/athlete, and we were loaded at rb with Brown, Madu, Johnson and Clapp.

I have a great friend who is an Aggie fan and he follows them well. Thank God he's a realist and not too overbearing but loves him some Aggie. Anyway, we both planned to go to the Cotton Bowl if they made it. Of course that didn't happen. I wasn't aware of it but he went ahead & bought two tickets to the game & tonight he called gave me both tickets and said 'Merry Christmas. I can't go. Take your wife'. He said that he decided to take his daughter to Miami for the Orange Bowl.

From what I can tell these are pretty sweet seats but they are on the visitor's side. I guess it doesn't matter too much being a Bowl game w/ limited capacity.... or does it?

Thanks friend. I was really hoping for an OU / Aggie match up we could do a Guy's Bowl Game type party... but when Aggie got the Orange Bowl I thought it was all off. So yep the wife & I are going... we're pretty stoked as we haven't been anywhere w/ this Covid crap. And we're 5-0 on road games throughout the years. I think they'll get this one too.

I wanted the Aggies too, but taking out a florida (sec) team coming off a great showing against Bama ain't bad either. Hope you'll have a great time!
