Thanks Gramps. Now we need to pull for Iowa State to beat #1 Virginia this evening to put 3 big xii teams in the elite 8.

Gramps, did we make you happy? The Aggies really shot themselves in the foot. Feet?
They picked the perfect time to forget how to shoot free throws. They had a little flurry at the end when Gilder went to the line and made six in a row in the last ten minutes, but the rest of their team was 7-18 from the line. If they'd shot better, it might have been tight at the end. Surely, tighter. But Lon had a great game plan.
Not sure if that will be enough against Oregon. Those guys have some athletes. But I'd love three Big XII teams in the Final Four. But whatever happens, we already know one thing. There will be no team there from the

No Twelfth Man, to bail 'em out, in Basketball...
I don't know about a 12th man in basketball. But A&M's sixth, seventh and eighth men were dreadful. Their bench combined to make three of twenty from the field. Let's hope that Oregon can emulate that.
