Confidence level

The Sooners haven't truly taken a step forward unless they win Monday, and they haven't made the football world respect them and what their true destiny is unless they win twice. Nobody's doing it for them.

Never have I seen a qb more prepared to win it all.

That feeling is in my weary Sooner bones, and won't go away.

I guess we will see soon enough. I am pretty confident OU wins but in the back of my mind I remember the past few losses on the big stage, LSU, USC, Florida and the Playoff Game vs Clemson. I just feel we are due but I have thought that before. I know what Buffalo Bills fans felt back in the 90's losing 4 straight Super Bowls.
A lot of what I am hearing is OU does not have the defense to win it all. That defense wins Championships and the other 3 teams in the Playoffs play defense. I guess they did not watch the last 2 National Championship Games where Bama and Clemson lit each other up. That OU's offense will be shut down because Kirby and Company has had lots of time to figure out a way to slow OU down blah blah blah. I am also hearing people say Georgia can run the ball very well and will gash OU's defense. OU has some pretty good backs as well, hopefully Georgia will forget about them as well as some of the so called experts have. And a lot of people are saying the "Real" Championship game is Bama vs Clemson in the Sugar Bowl. Hopefully OU has some fire in the belly and feels slighted and has more to prove.
I am not a football expert so I will leave that up to those that are or claim to be but I just have a feeling this team is special and will find a way to get it done. At least I hope so. I am sick of waiting! Lets get it on!
BOOMER!

I feel OU has an 80% chance of winning.

If OU gets out to an early lead, the offense grinds out the clock and the D holds off several second half surges by UGA and OU wins 38-20.

If UGA gets rolling, they may lead at half time, but OU makes adjustments on D, slows down the UGA running game enough for OU to get untracked on offense and win a close one 30-28.

For some reason I believe Lincoln Riley will open it up to show recruits exactly what is up his sleeve in a sense, so that excitement will build, because he is on another level of strategy and his recruiting. Maybe I'm wrong but I could see an unloading of offense to kind of force A movement in respect to football programs and Future play.
I think showing recruits is the last thing on Lincoln's mind. He is, or should be, 100% in the present and 00% in the future. It's all about winning the game at hand. Win it and the next one and a boost in our recruiting will just be a bonus for being national champions!
