Both lines looked bad. Grinch defense was as normal, dline getting pushed around the 1st half and their online, is not any good.

USC fans are currently in the same state of denial many of us were with Lincoln and Grinch.
They were excusing their obvious defensive miscues on Grinch rotating guys out all game to find his starters, not realizing that's what he keeps doing all season. Ask Perrion Winfrey.

If Grinch doesn't get it going and I have no reason to believe he will then TBOW will feel the heat for a change at DC.
I feel the same with Roof at OU. If the Defense does not get better, Roofs seat will be getting hot. I just don't and didn't feel like Roof was the guy, hope I am wrong. Didn't like Grinch either from the get go.

Brent supposedly has said he is going to be more involved with the D this year. A lot of fans bellyached when TBOW was here saying he needed to hire an OC but I get the feeling a lot of fans will be ok with Brent taking more of a role in what the defense does. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
I like Roof's answer about his playcalling. If BV doesnt like what Roof is calling he calls something different. I think we see a more animated and energized BV on the sidelines this year.
