They always talk about their charter and those metrics being:

-Head to Head
-Common Opponent
-Strength of Schedule

First one is N/A and TCU common opponent is well in favor of OU, ironically especially when comparing yards given up to TCU. Scoring margin has 13 more points differential than tOSU all will playing on road vs a neutral site.

SOSchedule right now has OU at 34 and tOSU at 48. Gap will only get bigger with this weekend. SORecord has them 5 vs our 6, that should flip if both win.

Bama of course needs to beat UGA. Iowa state needs to not be upset in their makeup game with Drake (they won’t) to keep the Top 25. I would’ve loved to see Army ranked in their rankings today but NW being at 21 will knock them out of top 25 while UT will stay in somewhere 18-25, this to me will make the army not being ranked not so bad as OU will add a “current top25” win while tOSU won’t.

Long story short, Bama wins and we win we are in. I think even if we win by 1 pt and tOSU wins by anything less than 40 pts, we are in no matter what. We don’t need to blow out UT IMO
