A High School Football Field Somewhere
Guys, between the Idiot, getting going with state rankings, and some other features I need to get to I'm not sure I'll get to write this out as content but did want to relay that I spoke with a BUNCH of the commitments last night about their thoughts on Oklahoma making the playoff, facing Alabama and wanted to share some of their comments.

"All I'm going to say is 'you go to Oklahoma for moments like these'," Stacey Wilkins said.

"It’s truly a blessing for them to win 4 in a row and make the playoffs! (It's) crazy how everything works out for the good. I just have to be prepared to keep that same energy when I get there," Jaden Davis said. "Alabama is a great football program and is gonna be a game for the ages; don’t sleep on Oklahoma."

"Winning four in a row just shows how great their culture of winning is. OU certainly deserves to be in the playoffs, simply because we beat everyone on the schedule. And with the best offense in the country how could you leave us out. I’m looking forward to watching the game between OU and Alabama. It’s certainly gonna be a fun one to watch," Joseph Wete said.

"You come to Oklahoma to win big 12 titles and to win national championships so it was a no brainer that my boys wasn’t going to pull the win out and I feel the same way about this Alabama game especially knowing how dominate our offense is and will be going forward with our master-minded head coach," Derek Green said.

"They really deserved what they got and we’re ready for 'Bama the offense and defense will show up big time," Marcus Alexander said.

"I’m excited that I’m only a month and a half for being part of a historic football team. Four big 12 Championships in a row, is something to hang your hat on. And the fact that we made that history against Texas is the cherry on top," Jamal Morris said.

"Making it to the playoffs after the ups and downs of this season shows the resilience of this team. No matter what adversity was thrown at us, we always found a way. Shows what time of coaching we have as well.

"This is what the college football playoffs are all about, the best teams in the country slugging it out. 'Bama is a great team and is very well coached. However, we ain’t no slouch either. I believe that our boys going attack this game like it’s the National Championship and give Bama a fight that no one expected."

"I'm excited OU made it. I think they deserve to be there when they beat the only team they previously lost to. Playing Bama, it is a big challenge and Im excited to see the game. If you want to be the best you have to beat the best," Drew Sanders said.

"The Big 12 game was incredible. The environment was amazing and seeing how the game shaped was the best part of it. OU making the playoffs is so great. It’s no surprise to me because of how well their season has gone so it’s seeing their hard work payoff. As for them playing Alabama, it’s very exciting. I can’t wait to see how that game will go. I think OU has a good chance of beating them," Marcus Hicks said.

"It’s exciting! It will be a great game. Alabama is tough but we have the best offense in the country. It’ll be interesting," Spencer Rattler said.

"I was ecstatic about OU making the playoffs over UGA! Being that I was born and raised in Athens Ga. My whole family is from Athens(Bulldog Country) and we were all cheering for UGA to lose so OU could get in! I think OU will be able to out score Bama," Jalen Huff said.

"I was happy to see the boys get the job done. It was good seeing the defense make the plays needed to win the Big 12," Darion Green-Warren said. "I believe they can beat Alabama."
