Motley is a nice blend of multiple skill-sets. He’ll need to add weight, but has decent length at 6-1. Playing offense has given him quality ball skills and he’s a guy who looks comfortable while the pass is in the air. Not many guys look as under control as Motley consistently does not only in the passing game, but when taking guys to the ground. Great feet and balance that allow him to maneuver through tight space with quick changes of direction without losing his center of gravity. Showed more explosion in his senior tape than in as a junior and could even contribute at wide receiver. Although, I'll show you why I think he's truly special on the defensive side of the ball...

Watch his feet on two moves during this punt return. First, the explosion out of the cut and then his ability to break down quickly in short spaces. Would be ideal for a corner to turn, run, and/or keep up with double moves.

Ball skills are what can take a good corner into a great one and Motley showcases a knack for high-pointing throws and coming down with them.

Overall, I think if you give him a few years, Motley could grow into an All-Conference caliber cornerback.
