Walker is a guy I’ve seen in person a few times and you really can’t help but be impressed by his frame and size for a sophomore in high school. He carries so much effortless power that it sometimes can appear like he can get lethargic in games without making much impact.
His exceptionally long arms allow him to keep defenders from getting into his body and manhandling him. Not the quickest when pulling and out in space, but once he gets a head of steam going he’s more than capable of knocking linebackers on their backsides.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again with Walker, he may not dominant on the field like you wish he would, but you can’t let 6-6, 300 pound, 16-year-old offensive tackles with that kind of frame leave your backyard - way too much potential. He’s someone the OU coaches are very excited to have locked up.
