Eating lunch and look up and he’s talking about Kingsbury trading Rosen and taking Kyler as the #1 pick in the draft.
Silly and pretty unbelievable but weirder things have happened.

Guess we’ll see if Kliff Kingsbury is a man of his word.
Back in October, speaking about Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray, the then-Texas Tech coach said he’d take him with the No. 1 overall pick. Of course, at the time, Murray was planning on heading to spring training with the Oakland A’s after the season with the Sooners.
A Heisman Trophy-winning season, and things have apparently changed.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle’s Susan Slusser, the A’s expect Murray to declare for the NFL Draft by Sunday’s deadline. With the scouting combine in February, that likely would mean the baseball career is on hold.
And now you have Kingsbury, who finds himself holding that No. 1 pick
as the Arizona Cardinals' new head coach.
“Kyler, I mean, he’s a freak, man,”
Kingsbury said in October, via Eric Kelly of KLBK. "Kyler is a freak. I’ve followed him since he was a sophomore in high school. Just think the world of him and what he can do on a football field. I’ve never seen one better in high school and he’s starting to show it now at the college level. I don’t have enough good things to say about him. He’s phenomenal.
“I’ve never seen him have a poor outing. Not one, which at quarterback is impossible to do but he’s done it. I’d take him with the first pick of the draft if I could. I know he’s signed up to play baseball but he is a dominant football player and I would take him with the first pick.”
Murray was selected ninth overall in the MLB draft by the A’s. If he’s a first-round NFL pick in April, that would be historic.
So ... the Cardinals drafted QB Josh Rosen with the 10th overall pick in 2018. But would Arizona really consider drafting Murray at No. 1 and trading Rosen off to the highest bidder?
