Do they really belong in the Top 5? They seem like a team that is barely deserving of Top 10 actually. ACC is a joke from top to bottom.

Oh I don't know, they had a couple of close calls last year by week 4, barely beat Aggie by 2 points in week one and had a 4 point win over Syracuse in week 4 then went on a fast track to the National Title and blew out Bama. Their schedule is soft but I think North Carolina reminded everyone that you better come to play every Saturday.

The close call to UNC should cause Clemson to drop. But, they are still undefeated and the reigning National Champ, so I can see why some voters will keep them in the top spot. However, if I had a vote, then I'd say Bama and possibly Ohio State should jump Clemson. Georgia was idle, so they should be jumped by tOSU just like OU was jumped last week for being idle. UGA stays one place above OU for the signature win over Notre Dame.

I wholeheartedly agree with Schoonerman's methodology. We all know what will happen vs what should happen. Sooners will get shafted in all but the coaches poll until we see what happens in the RRR in two weeks...

Clemson is a returning national champion, who slaughtered Bama in the NC game and is returning a great quarterback and an elite running back. And they have a pretty easy schedule ahead. Unless somebody upsets them, they will be in the final four.

Yeah, it's easy to watch the media poll move on emotions and how much you can cream your opponent. Coach's poll only cares about W-L

The pimping of the sec teams by the talking heads saying they might get 3 teams in the playoffs is sickening though but expected.

Yes of course they belong in the top 5. They're the defending champs and until they lose, they should stay there regardless if they win ugly against unranked teams.
