Don't get me wrong this is a decent matchup but ESPN is going a little over the top for this game. Heck it's getting more hype than OU/Ohio St. Can someone tell me why?

I think this is pretty common ESPN practice when there are a couple of big games on a weekend. They're going to focus the peripheral conversation on the second-ranked game knowing that they are going to pump out a ton of info on the primary game through GameDay.
Last year Clemson beat Auburn 19-13 and OU was blown out at home by ohio state. Maybe they just feel the Auburn vs Clemson game will be more of a game again. I don't know.
Outside of this board I have not seen very many that think OU can beat ohio state but I think they are basing that on last years game, different year and different teams. Some have even said the talent gap between OU and ohio state is still too big for OU to compete with them or teams like bama and clemson. I say thats a crock. Hopefully the team will feel like they are disrespected and come out and prove to everyone OU can compete with the so called more talented teams. If I said I wasn't nervous about it I would be a liar. In defense of those that are going by what happened last year when predicting a winner for this game I cannot help but think about last years game as well and for the most part thats what makes me nervous. Guess we will see soon enough.

If you think espin is over the top now they will be in full tard mode if auburn beats clemson. Not gonna happen tho.
Very true. Yeah I saw they are wearing some different version of the LeBron shoes tomorrow.
