Cincinnati and Memphis tied up

Great game last night if you like lots of offense and very little defense, which I don't. I like closely contested, relatively low-scoring games where the outcome is decided on a small handful of plays (see OU-Tennessee for example).

However, what impressed me was that Cincy's QB Gunner Kiel gets knocked out from a concussion (legal hit, sorry Jesse Palmer), and the redshirt freshman comes in and doesn't miss a beat. In fact, the kid probably plays better than Kiel. Also, I was impressed with how well Memphis played last night. They just seem well-coached and Justin Fuentes has got someting going on in Memphis. I can imagine he will get a few offers after this season from one of the Power 5 conference schools to be their new head coach. I could see South Carolina come calling if Spurrier steps down or at Washington State or Indiana if Leach and Kevin Wilson don't get it turned around this season.
