Wishing him a speedy recovery from a very tough injury for a defensive back ...achilles tendon. Questions remain as to who will be starting in his place.
It looks like he had surgery this week.
Oklahoma safety Chanse Sylvie may miss the 2018 season with an injury to his Achilles tendon, coach Lincoln Riley announced Thursday.
Riley told reporters that Sylvie is a “50/50” shot to play in what would be his junior year.
Sylvie saw action in all 14 games last season and finished with 15 tackles. In his freshman year, he played in 11 games, mostly on special teams, and registered 5 tackles.
The injury will weaken Oklahoma’s depth at safety. Will Johnson and Steven Parker, starters for much of 2017 at safety, have graduated. Sylvie would’ve likely competed for the starting free safety spot. Expect Robert Barnes and Kahlil Haughton to be the favorites for the opening day starting jobs at the safety spots, especially if Sylvie can’t go.
Riley told reporters the injury happened mid-spring and, though the team was initially hopeful the injury would heal on its own, Sylvie did have surgery.

Was there ever word on Sermon's injury from the spring game?
I think Trey is fine. His Twitter feed shows a number of recent videos of him working out at what appears full speed.
