Its a foregone conclusion that Burrows ( Rightfully so ) will win the Heisman and if OU makes the playoff would JH opt to decline the invite to get ready for the playoffs?

I don’t remember if a player has ever declined an event like this but it would seem a wasted trip knowing your not winning it when you could be with your team preparing for a huge game.

I don't believe the team practices next week. They may do some lifting or film study but not actual practice.

According to the Vegas line, it would be the biggest upset in the history of upsets, if Burrow doesn't win.
Burrow is -2500 and second place Justin Fields is +1200.
Those odds are as close to a cinch as you can get.
No way Hurts would decline an invitation, in my opinion.
