Champ U Bbq starts at 1 today. If I'm not mistaken it was on this day last year when Riley took OU recruiting into overdrive. Some believe OU could get 4-6 huge commits this weekend.

Riley gets it when it comes to recruiting. So far he seems to have dotted every i and crossed every t!

Sounds like the main push is recruiting into the 2020 class. The 2019 list is mostly kids that are already committed. I think there are 3-4 2019 kids coming that are still open. I like the idea of this BBQ to get all the recruits together to build some camaraderie between each other to help keep each other committed going forward.

Jeff Carter... to A$M. After losing Dax Hill and now Carter, this kinda blows. Having said this, I'm not really too fond of someone that commits and then de-commits a few times. But the kid has a tremendous amount of talent. His 5 star ranking pushed Aggie up to #2 Nationally knocking OU down to #4.

Losing Carter is no big deal. I fully expect to see him in 2020 at Last Chance U. When Patterson didn't recruit the kid from his biggest recruiting ground or for that matter no Texas school outside of the Aggys, says a lot. Red Flags all over the place.

The whole I have a flat tire and can't make it to Norman and then an hour later post a Commitment video, shows his character. He got burned in the finals, at camp. He does have speed, but poor coverage skills. So he is a project and a head case.

2020 Last Chance U star, is going to be his only claim to fame in CFB.
