Portland Ct.
OU vs Georgia in Cotton
ND vs Fla in Orange
KSU vs Michigan in Guaranteed Rate
O-State vs NC State in Cheez-It
Iowa St vs Washington in Alamo
ATM vs Indiana in Outback
Texas vs LSU in Texas Bowl
Tulsa vs Marshall in Armed Forces
Wisconsin vs Auburn in Citrus
West Virginia vs Tennessee in Liberty
Houston vs Boise State in LA Bowl
Miami vs Cincinnati in Peach
Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama and Oregon in the playoffs with Notre Dame and Florida as possibilities to break in.
Some great match ups if it becomes reality.
Aside from the OU-Georgia rematch, I'd like to see ATM vs Indiana, Tulsa vs Marshall, Miami vs Cincinnati, NC State vs OK-State, Wisconsin vs Auburn, ND vs Florida and Iowa State vs Washington.

So Kansas State and Michigan get a bowl bid but Northwestern doesn’t! Laughable.
I know this is silly, but since the 1959 food poisoning NON-SCANDAL by Northwestern, I always root against them. I realize it was probably a mob hit, but OU was clearly affected by the loss of and/or the diminished performances of important players.
Then OU played them again in 1997 when clueless Coach Blake took his team to Chicago and laid a 24-0 egg against a 5-7 Northwestern team.
OU did beat Northwestern in 1939, 23-0....but somehow, I don't believe too many people remember that.

My wife and I attended the ‘97 game as my bosses guests. We spent the weekend with his family. Of course, he is a Northwestern grad and enjoyed my agony. Watching our local high school All State quarterback have such a poor OU debut only worsened the game experience. Otherwise, it was a great few days in what once was my favorite downtown city and home office location.

I would love to see us take Georgia to the woodshed however, nothing pains me more than to realize that if Grinch was the DC that year, there’s NO WAY we lose that Rose Bowl, let alone not win the NC. Need I remind you one Jalen Hurts was the Bama QB that year 🙄🙄.

C’mon Man ! There are 3 vaccines hitting the streets in a matter of days and once enough front line workers and high risk patients get the doses we’ll all be ‘right as rain’, just as we were promised (at least until the next new flu season hits)

Moderna's vaccine has not yet been proven to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
No one knows for certain how the three vaccines will ultimately perform. It may be months or longer before our lives return to normal even if things go well. Masks, social distancing and hand washing may be with us a long time.
"Promises" mean nothing right now.
I'm tried of this pandemic and the vaccine research being a political football by both sides and the media. We don't need hearing "spins" on how to harness the spread of Covid-19 and who's to blame for it. And blaming Trump is akin to blaming Lincoln for The Civil War.
We need truthful answers and to be on the same page in combating this virus.
The "blame game" needs to stop now.

First, the msm including faux And the various agencies, companies and state governments have politicized this gift from Wuhan 50 different self-serving ways to Sunday from the beginning. I understand that people have died and it will continue but it has been less than a year and, led by the current administration has been key to guiding two top labs to create vaccines (probably a third) and done so in 7 months instead of years; an achievement alone that will be lauded historically unless the new team cocks it up.
Second, one of my best friends and mentors passed at 3:30 this am of a heart and cancer issue (no COVID) and I wasn’t blaming anyone.
Third, I believe it’s nuts to worry about bowl spots at this point as the b1g and the pac have plenty of games left before anything is finalized

I thought vaccines stops the spread by killing the virus. The three vaccines are over 90% in killing the virus. The measles vaccine was around 75% when first distributed. I like the chances of these three. The schedule to "return to normal" depends greatly on the time it takes to getting the masses inoculated. We will see drastic improvement by April/May. Where is Medic when I need him?

So sorry that you lost your friend. My wife and I also lost a good friend yesterday. He and his wife made up our Sunday foursome at our club for several years. We found out the he and his wife were both admitted into intensive unit four days ago. He died yesterday and his wife hasn’t been told yet. My wife’s best friend. This is when it gets damn personal.

Moderna's "top doctor", Dr. Tal Saks, claims this vaccine has not been proven to stop the spread. He claims it WILL prevent people from getting sick, but there is no hard evidence (yet) that it will prevent the patient from being a carrier and infecting others from getting sick. This was revealed in a NY Post article yesterday, 11/24.
Last night, two of my nephews tested positive, and with my 72nd birthday in three weeks, this pandemic and especially the current spike, is a concern. I can play by the rules with mask and glove wearing, washing my hands throughout the day, cleaning stuff around the house, using mouthwash 3 times daily and separating myself from others, but I can't prevent someone else's carelessness from infecting me or my wife.
We should see better days, but determining an exact time for normalcy is guess work right now.....and what will "normalcy" look like in the future ?
There may be a "light at the end of the tunnel", but let's hope it is salvation and not an oncoming train.

Per Yahoo...
  • Moderna Chief Medical Officer Tal Zaks told Axios that the public should not "over-interpret" the vaccine trial results to assume life could go back to normal after adults are vaccinated.
  • "They do not show that they prevent you from potentially carrying this virus transiently and infecting others," Zaks told Axios.
  • While he believes, based on the science, that it's likely that vaccine does prevent transmission, but said there's still no solid proof of that yet.
If I get a covid vaccine I'm done w/ masks. From that point on, everyone is on their own risk once a vaccine is out there. I'm not special and will not be at the head of any line to get vaccinated. I figure by the time I get it just about everyone will have had the opportunity to get it as well. I'm seeing people that are refusing to get it and/or waiting for others to be their 'guines pig'. I have no patience or sympathy for this behavoir. Once I get vacinnated I'm done w/ mask wearing for anyone else's protection and done w/ the whole social distancing protocal as well. Life will get better. Mine will anyway. Others can too if they want it.
