Kani Walker DB from Louisville also signed on...welcome to both. Depth is important. Hope Bedenbaugh gets off his duff and gets some OL guys. Certainly is some cause of concern there.

Interesting that Malachi Nelson, the QB who originally committed to OU, has not signed with USC yet, but at this stage, he can stay away.
I thought Nelson is a 2023 recruit or am I missing something? That has been known to happen.

Nelson won’t need to look around. Nelson is a 2023 recruit and CW will be a sophomore.
I was considering the possibility of CW being an entrenched starter and Nelson looking to walk right in. That in addition to the usc coache's inability to be up front.
Those are definitely things I did not consider. I know it didn’t matter when CW was here and Malachi committed, but that was before I knew TBOW for what he is. I would imagine CW doesn’t stay in school too long, but the NIL may make star players stick around longer since they are already cashing fat checks at the collegiate level?
If he returns, Venables should make him play with no name on his jersey. Not the entire team, just that du(ouche)de.
I just don’t think Venables is the kind of guy to allow prima Donna attitude to infiltrate the locker room. I realize Williams has been silent for the most part during this time but their actions clearly indicate that they are putting themselves above the team. At this point he’s a distraction and I think it’ll make others on the team a little salty imo.
