Have you heard anything?
There are several steps the Sooners could take to ensure that LR stays at OU for a long, long time.
A) Start with an immediate raise and make him one of the top paid OCs in college football. He actually came here being paid considerably less than the guy he replaced.
B) Give him an upgrade in title. More than just OC he could be OC/assistant head coach type of deal (along with the pay raise).
C) Name him head coach in waiting after Stoops retires.
D) Privately, behind the scenes, let him know he could be the next OU head coach.
Is OU wanting/aware they need to do something to keep Riley here or are they just resigned to letting the chips fall where they may, which of course means letting him walk without any attempt to keep him.
