With large, immovable objects on the sidelines that are literally feet away from the playing field, will OU now address this health risk to players or do they simply not care?
Yes, we all understand there isn't a lot of room on each side line. But there has to be a better plan to ensure safety. That injury shouldn't have happened on any field in college football.
Put it this way. If I'm Austin, I might be thinking about a lawsuit. Reggie Bush tore his ACL while running out of bounds in a very hazardous area and won millions of dollars. So whether its players' safety or losing lots of money, OU should care about this issue very much.
