We were defending their pass, just like we did against Texass and they just kept running. We were on OUr heels and never played downhill. I cannot remember anyone on OUr defense coming up and hitting someone.
Very disappointed that we didn't play physical at all. Defensive game plan was bad. Losing Walker hurt badly and the coaches chose to not rotate anyone else in, Overton, etc. They continued with tired players. The only time I noticed OUr LBers was when Evans went off hurt.
The turnovers hurt real bad. Baker needed to check down to the flat to Perine and Mixon much more, instead of trying to Johnny Football. Credit to Clemson for keeping their lanes and the edge.
Overall a good season, but hate to lose playing prevent defense and not playing physical, in your face, press, downhill, hard hitting D.
