Catoosa OK
where he showed the palms of his hands held high? I didn't get it. A Texas dl just recovered a Cal fumble and did basically the same thing without a flag.

Yeah, some pretty subjective rules. Shepard's penalty was nothing in comparison to things in this Texas game. But I must admit, the Cal TD where the Cal player flashed the upside-down Horns warmed my tender heart.

(Unrelated: That fake Texas injury was pussy football.)

If you do what Shepard did, sometimes you will get a penalty. Sometimes, you won't. Whether or not it is taunting is at the discretion of the official.

If I were a coach, I would bench anyone who did something that might get such a penalty for at least a couple of series. It can get you a penalty, and it isn't worth it.

I don't want arguments that it shouldn't be called. I want it stopped where it definitely will not be called.

A fine line between taunting and celebrating. I guess I need to rewatch the play. I just didn't see it. I understand the throat slash, etc.

Medic, I was looking for you an hour before kickoff today (at the Gomer Jones). But Goober Jones behind the front counter couldn't help me.

BR, Texas was trying to avoid a substitution penalty. They motioned for him to go down.

Found it...crap like this cracks me up cuz it's so damn ridiculous....LOL :D
I love the Cal QBs reaction...HAHA :D:D
