Edmond Santa Fe star Calvin Bundage is still considering Oklahoma along with five other schools as his National Signing Day decision comes down to the wire, he told The Oklahoman.
Bundage had not considered OU among his top considerations for some time, but re-evaluated the Sooners this week.
“I feel like it’s a good opportunity for me,” he said in a phone interview. “I’ve been thinking about it.”
Bundage will sign his National Letter of Intent at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. He does not plan to sign early in the morning ahead of the ceremony.
Bundage told The Oklahoman he will choose from OU, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Michigan, Arizona State and Arizona. He said Arkansas was no longer a consideration.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound defensive back is ranked No. 2 on The Oklahoman’s Super 30 rankings of the state’s top college recruits for the 2016 class.
