First, I hope I spelled his name right. I see where he accepted a position on the defensive line. That leaves a spot for super recruiter Chip Viney if Bob chooses to go that way. It's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. Many of our recruits have sited Viney as one of the reasons they committed. There is one big time recruit from California that has mentioned him as to why he has interest in OU on twitter, etc (yet to commit). Sorry, forgot his name.

Good luck to CJ...........

Would be nice if this opened up a spot for Chip Viney to stick around. No doubt he is right at the top in terms of importance in OU's recruiting. Last I heard though, is there was literally no chance Viney was gonna be able to stay on staff. That was a few days ago. Apparantly this news about C.J. Ah You is old news by what was reported over on the pay board. So time will tell if this will let Bob keep Viney around. Hopefully it does.

Excellent article. Thanks for posting it.

CJ, sorry for misspelling your name.....

5 star lb recruit Kelly is real close to Viney. Hopefully we get to have both next season
