On 247 we are currently ranked 5th in recruiting, but we are actually much higher than that. 6 players have a composite score of 94, whereas 247 ranks them anywhere from 93 to 88. Two of our players are composite 93, whereas 247 ranks them 90 and 88. Beyond that there isn’t a composite score that is higher or lower by more than a point than what 247 ranks them, but in the vast majority of cases 247 ranks them lower.
Currently at 5th we are about 20 points behind ND. Unless 247 is ranking every teams recruits lower than the composite this year, it means we actually have closer to 4th and right up there with the big dogs.
Considering the staff is now focusing on those elite top 50 OL to round the class out, I can’t wait to see where we end up.
