Junior guard Buddy Hield has been named Big 12 Player of the Year.

Senior TaShawn Thomas was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year today. Thomas averaged 11.1 points and 6.2 rebounds in conference play.

Coach of the Year - Bob Huggins
Defensive Player of the Year - Jameel McKee (Iowa State)
Freshman of Year - Myles Turner (Texas)
6th Man of Year - Taurean Prince (Baylor)
