These are just too ridiculous to not pass along ... via the OU stat pack:

Senior guard Buddy Hield picked up his sixth game of at least 30 points this season, including his fifth in the last eight contests. The senior has eight consecutive games with at least 20 points (first Sooner to do so since Nate Erdmann during the 1996-97 season). The other 133 Big 12 players who have played this season have combined for the same number of 30-point games as Hield (six).

• Hield joins Blake Griffin (2008-09) as the only Sooner with six or more 30-point games in season in the last 20 years.

• Hield moved into second place by himself (entered game tied) in program history with 255 3-pointers, passing former Sooner guard Steven Pledger (249). Hield needs just five more treys to set the Oklahoma record for career 3-pointers, held by Terry Evans (259).

• In two games this week, Hield averaged 38. 5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. The senior was 24 of 37 (64.8 percent) from the field, 14 of 23 (60.9 percent) from behind the arc and 15 of 17 (88.2 percent) from the free throw line.

• Hield is up to 26.6 points per game on the season.

Postgame press conference highlights will be up soon.
