Guys,
We don't want to ever refuse giving you guys information. We love breaking news and love being first. But sometimes we have to be mindful of sensitive information.
What we can tell you is a bit cryptic and for that we apologize. But here it is:
We can tell you tonight Bryce hasn't decommmitted from the University of Oklahoma and he isn't going to be signing with another university Wednesday. We have spoken with the family tonight, and even though there is more to this story than just those two facts, we can't reveal those discussions, or that information at this time.
We are putting this on the board for our subscribers because you deserve to know something. And you deserve to know we are staying on top of things. We are not posting this on our front page. We are not going to be tweeting about it or putting it on Facebook or sending out any alerts.
We would like to ask that you keep all discussion about this news (albeit cryptic) on this thread. We will go ahead and delete the other threads on the board discussing this subject.
We would also ask that you not post this information on Twitter or Facebook or any other social media, blog or website.
This is premium copyrighted information regardless of how cryptic it is.
I know that seems we're concerned about protecting our information saying that, but we're really just trying to respect the wishes of the family in a difficult time.
We know we are leaving room for speculation. But it's either that or ignoring something that is becoming a news item. We do hope to be given the OK to share more information with you soon.
I would just warn anyone to not react negatively. Bryce and his family will need your support once the full details of this situation come out. This situation has nothing to do with football in the end.
