I try to read all the camp reports out of Cleveland and I think 3 things have become pretty apparent.
1. They are committed to Tyrod Taylor starting and playing this year.
2. Baker is much better than most people thought and will push him pretty hard.
3. They don't have a left tackle.
These aren't hot takes I know but what I find pretty interesting is I think they all connect. As a huge Baker fan I don't want any part of him playing w/o a good left tackle. I really think Cleveland agrees and wants to keep him off the field until they settle the their Oline problems. If they can have the guts to play Tyrod all year and either draft or sign a free agent to solidify their line, Baker has a chance to be really, really good next year. If they rush him, I think he has a chance to end up beat to death like so many other first rounders. Here's me hoping he doesn't see the field this year.
