Oklahoma lost Rodney Anderson to a knee injury in their second game of the season. Along with Anderson, the Sooners lost a little bit of their identity when it came to their running game.

Heading into Texas this season, Kyler Murray had become the Sooners leading rusher in two of the four games since Anderson went down.

Trey Sermon was still finding his legs while Marcelias Sutton was serving as the No. 2 running back behind him.
